Vodafone adds 2400 3G sites and 760 2G sites in the Gujarat circle

Vodafone India has added around 2,400 3G base transceiver stations (BTS) and 760 2G BTS since July 2014 in the Gujarat circle. With this, Vodafone India has 13,350 2G and 3G BTS in the circle, covering 95 percent of the state’s population.
Vodafone has more than 6.5 million data customers in the Gujarat circle. The operator has over 2.7 million 3G users in the state.
Vodafone is also simplifying pricing, educating retailers and offering a choice of plans to customers to boost its mobile internet revenues in Gujarat.
